Herein lieth the current incarnation of the official statement of the Emeritus Membership policies... eth...

Recruitment:
Emeritus does not currently have any form of open recruitment. Those wishing to join our community should obtain the GEM mod and join the Avarice channel and get to know both our members, and the members of the other guilds that make up the Avarice Alliance before applying for membership in Emeritus.

Members of <The Basin>:
All current members of The Amazon Basin who hold the rank of ABM or higher are welcome within our community, and need only post an introduction using their blue-board forum name (or letting us know what that name is if the name is unavailable here).
Those currently holding the rank of Community Member, and not already members of Emeritus, will be asked to go through our normal entry and application process (details will be made clear in the near future).
**If you have been banned or removed from The Basin, please do not apply.
**Currently, there is no reciprocal membership arrangement with The Basin. So gaining membership here will not gain you ABM'ship there. However, gaining ABM status there will gain you membership here.
